Agent OS's value proposition is codebase standards and spec-driven development. That is a precise, deliberate scope and it serves engineers well. It also means that if you are an accountant, a lawyer, a consultant, a marketer or an operator using Claude Code to do work that is not code, most of what Agent OS is good at is not aimed at you — and the setup assumes a fluency with repositories and configuration files that you may specifically be trying to avoid.
